A late offer from the Ideal Home Show organisers gave us the opportunity to exhibit at this years show. A stand was quickly put together and with minimal preparation time, opening day was upon us and the show was open. Attendances were good and visitors to our stand were plentiful and regular. People seemed to like the fact that our units and doors were built in the UK, and whilst everybody wanted a deal, they were plesantly surprised when we showed them our prices.

In an effort to strike while the iron was still hot, the days were long as time was spent visiting potential customers before the start of the show and then once it had closed for the day. Being able to create and present our suggested design whilst with the client paid great dividends as we were pretty much able to supply all designs and prices in the first meeting which will hopefully lead to a quicker decision making process and more orders!

It is fair to say that the show is a long one and I don’t think there were many exhibitors who didn’t raise a cheer when the doors closed for the final time on Sunday, but we have viewed it as a success. We have plenty of enquiries to follow up and more people are now aware of Heart of the Home which can only be a good thing.

If you came to the show and visited our stand then thank you. We hope you enjoyed the show and that we will hear from you when you start thinking about new kitchens, bathrooms or bedrooms.
